I am Taiwo Owatemi, Member of Parliament for Coventry North West. I was first elected in 2019 after having worked as a Senior Cancer Pharmacist in the NHS. After an amazing first term, I was reelected to represent Coventry North West again in July 2024.

£20m Pride in Place Funding
Tile Hill is set to benefit from a major new long-term investment through the government’s Pride in Place programme. This means £2 million a year for the next 10 years – a total of £20 million invested directly into Tile Hill.
This is a significant opportunity for local residents to shape how money is spent in their community!

My Work Experience Programme
I am offering a one-week, in-person work experience programme for students aged 16 and over who are interested in politics, public service, and supporting their community.
Students will gain a practical insight into how an MP’s office works in Parliament and in the constituency, while developing their own policy ideas on issues affecting Coventry North West.
