Stepping Up Support For Ukraine

Three years ago today, Russia launched their unprovoked and illegal invasion of Ukraine. As a government we stood together in supporting the Ukrainian people, and defending democracy in Europe.

Three years on, Labour are reaffirming our commitment to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty and the Ukrainian people’s right to self-determination. With that, we are also maintaining a commitment to our shared values and collective security in Europe.

I want to thank everyone in Coventry that has offered support to this cause, be it via generous donations or even opening your doors to Ukrainian refugees as part of the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
