I was very happy to attend Irish in Britain’s parliamentary event to show support for Irish communities around the UK and to hear more about the organisation’s work representing over 130 Irish clubs, centres and organisations around Britain.
The number of people that identify as Northern Irish and/or Irish in England or Wales is over 470,000.
The Irish diaspora in Coventry is central to our wonderful community. Coventry North West has benefitted greatly from the Irish – from the lovely Mick who many of you will know and is very active in the community, to family-run businesses like O’Tooles Café.
