It was lovely to join students from Cardinal Newman yesterday evening for the VE Day Peace Orchard walk.
We carried lanterns created by the local community, walking from the Coundon Hall Park Peace Orchard to Coventry Cathedral.
During the walk we took time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served in our armed forces.
It was lovely to then join the VE Day celebrations in Broadgate, where the VE Day beacon was lit from a flame taken from the lanterns we carried.
