This summer, I had a wonderful time at the Family Hubs on Tour event in Coundon Hall Park — a fantastic day spent connecting with local families, hearing about their experiences, and seeing first-hand the difference these hubs are making in our community.
The Family Hubs initiative is all about bringing essential support directly into neighbourhoods, making it easier for parents, carers, and young people to access advice and services when they need them most. From early years support and health advice to parenting guidance and wellbeing resources, these hubs are helping families navigate challenges in a welcoming, community-based setting.
It was inspiring to see so many families engaging with local organisations and taking part in the activities on offer. Events like this show the power of community connection — breaking down barriers and ensuring that help is accessible to everyone, wherever they live.
My thanks go to everyone involved in organising the event and to all the staff, volunteers, and families who came along. It’s brilliant to see services being brought directly to where people are — supporting families, strengthening communities, and helping every child in Coventry get the best start in life.
