Healthcare
I can assist constituents with healthcare issues by advocating for better NHS services, raising concerns about waiting times, and supporting local healthcare initiatives. My team and I can also help constituents navigate the healthcare system, including accessing specialist treatments or resolving disputes with service providers.
However, I cannot provide medical advice, influence clinical decisions, or intervene in private healthcare matters—those require professional medical or legal assistance.
Dial 999 if you have a life or limb threatening injury or medical issue.
Dial 111 if you think you might need to go to A&E but it’s not life or limb threatening.
If you have just moved to Coventry or need to find a new GP you can register for a new GP here.
To register you will need to switch from your current GP practice. A short waiting period will apply once you have submitted your application, before you can access our services.
UHCW PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) provides confidential support, helping patients resolve concerns, offer feedback, and navigate NHS services. They liaise with hospital departments on behalf of patients, provide information on making complaints, and ensure that concerns are addressed promptly.
The Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for commissioning NHS services on behalf of people in Coventry and Warwickshire. In consultation with local partners, it plans the delivery of services in a way that both meets local health and care needs and reduces inequalities between different groups.
