What i get up to as an mp

My Work

Here you can find the work I have been getting up to in my constituency. This includes visits to local organisations, schools and charities, as well as meetings with key local stakeholders.

You will also find information about any current campaigns I am running here, as well as my statements on local issues.

This section shows the work I’ve been up to in Parliament. Lots of organisations and charities hold events to speak to key stakeholders and MPs about the causes they are campaigning for, so it’s great to engage with them and learn more about different issues that may be affecting my constituents and people across the country.

As a Whip, I also play a role in maintaining party unity and ensuring that Labour deliver on our key manifesto commitments. I also sit on different Bill Committees, which means I play a part in scrutinising legislation before it is debated in Parliament.

As an MP and a pharmacist, I also sometimes attend events outside of Parliament and Coventry North West.

This might involve taking part in conferences, sitting on panels, or speaking at different universities.
