WHAT MPS CAN DO

How I can help you

What I can Do

In Westminster

I can raise matters which impact the constituency on your behalf in Westminster, by writing to relevant departments or officials on your behalf

In Coventry

I can contact both Coventry City Council as well as local organisations and private companies to try and help you resolve your issues

What I can't Do

In Westminster

As a Whip, I can’t make speeches in the House of Commons, table questions to Ministers, or sign Early Day Motions

In Coventry

I can’t help settle disputes between family members, neighbours, or between you and an employer

I can’t provide financial or business advice

I can’t give legal advice or interfere in court cases or any decisions previously made in a court of law

Facing an issue?

help & advice

If the issue you are raising relates to housing or council tax I would recommend contacting one of your ward councillors at Coventry City Council.

A national organisation that offer confidential advice and support on a range of issues – online, over the phone, and in person, for free.

IOPC oversee the police complaints system in England and Wales.

Here you can find your local officer, get the latest crime statistics and advice, and help the police with appeals for information.

more support

As your MP, I want to ensure I represent you in any way I can. If the issue you are dealing with doesn’t relate to any of the topics above, these organisations may be able to help.
